Sumi linen trousers

These drawstring culottes are made out of a one-of-a-kind linen. 

The art of suminagashi originated in ancient Japan as early as the 12th century, as a method of aqueous surface design. This print is created by marbling plain linen with water and ink to create a unique and vibrant handmade print. This process is done entirely by hand, thus each garment features a unique marble print and layout. 

This jaw string trouser features inverted pleats in the from and side seam pockets.
